PRME Working Groups and Activities
As early adopters of PRME, please accept our invitation to lead one of the PRME collective activities.
- Please, consider joining one of listed PRME Working Group or participating in one of the programmed PRME events or side-events by visiting them in this page.
- Please, submit a proposal for the creation of a new Working Group, a PRME event or a PRME side-event by submitting your project to the PRME Secretariat.
In its meeting on June 18, 2008, in Brussels, the PRME Steering Committee decided to increase the empowerment and ownership of PRME participating institutions by making a call to all participants to create new Working Groups. The call offers two clear advantages:
- Institutions which have adopted the Principles have a great opportunity to increase their public recognition and visibility by leading, organizing and sponsoring collective activities around the Principles.
- By decentralizing our collective activities, we will multiply visibility and benefits for the whole movement.
PRME Collective Activities Can Take Several Forms:
- PRME Working Groups
- PRME Conferences, Symposia or Forums
- Side-events, tracks or breakout sessions at non-PRME events.
For purposes of practical inspiration, please view above links on the support you will receive from the PRME Secretariat for each of these possibilities.
If you would like to discuss an initiative with other possible partners, please do so by networking with representatives of other institutions.
If you decide on a specific proposal, please contact the PRME Secretariat and we will assist you to the best of our ability to make your proposal a successful contribution to the international leadership of your own institution and to the advancement of the PRME initiative as a whole.
Please find the explanation of the support from the PRME Secretariat for your prospective initiative.
