PRME is advancing business and management education by equipping institutions with innovative tools, curricula, and pedagogy that embed sustainability, ethics, and responsible leadership into learning environments. Through downloadable teaching resources, certification programs, and peer-learning networks, educators gain the support needed to deliver impactful and interdisciplinary learning experiences. By fostering research and collaboration, PRME empowers students and faculty to tackle real-world sustainability challenges with urgency and purpose.
PRME develops curricula, through real-world issues, interdisciplinary perspectives, and experiential learning, that prepare students to engage with sustainability challenges not as abstract concepts, but as urgent and solvable realities.
PRME is excited to announce this new body of work which will provide Signatories with downloadable resources that can be co-branded and used directly in the classroom. Coming in June 2025, Signatories will be able to access syllabi, lesson plans, and presentations for courses in 7 disciplines. We are excited to roll these out and look forward to working with the community to ensure these resources match their needs.
PRME transforms pedagogy in responsible management education by providing certifications, fostering communities of practice, and recognizing innovative teaching through certifications and awards.
This year, PRME is launching new opportunities for educators to deepen their expertise in responsible management education. Signatories will gain access to certification programmes, best practice guides, and peer-learning networks designed to support innovative teaching methods. Additionally, PRME is incorporating recognition opportunities to highlight educators who excel in integrating sustainability and ethics into their pedagogy.
PRME fosters interdisciplinary research that goes beyond traditional academic boundaries, tackling issues like sustainable business, ethical decision-making, and the social impact of technology.
Through collaborations with research partners and journals, PRME provides quality research opportunities on key themes, including responsible management education and innovative pedagogies. PRME Working Groups and the PRME World Tour Research Paper Development Programme are examples of initiatives that further advance sustainability-focused research, uniting academics and industry leaders.
Participating in PRME education programmes, specifically the Impactful 5 (i5) Project, in 2024 was an inspiring experience, providing a valuable global perspective on advancing sustainability and the SDGs in education and business. Engaging with like-minded individuals from around the world, I gained insight into how others are implementing the Principles of PRME in innovative ways. These shared examples sparked new ideas and inspired initiatives within my own work to embed sustainability into the curriculum and student engagement activities. I particularly appreciated the accessibility and generosity of the speakers, who were always willing to answer questions and share resources, creating a true fountain of knowledge and collaboration.
