PRME recognizes faculty, both individuals and as teams, from Signatory Members for their excellence in contributions to the field of responsible management education.
The 2024 Faculty Teaching Awards honor impactful pedagogical innovations that accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across a variety of business school disciplines: management; accounting and finance; marketing; and operations and analytics. Submissions were received from over 800 institutions in more than 90 countries from PRME’s extensive community of business and management schools. Many of the submissions showcased an array of classroom interventions demonstrating creativity, thoughtfulness, pedagogical excellence, and a profound commitment to equipping students with the skills needed to drive sustainable development forward.
A select group of disciplinary experts from PRME schools formed the judging committee and chose five winners based on classroom interventions that demonstrated impactful pedagogical work, which contributed to advancing the SDGs, promoted student skill development, and established relevance across disciplines. The committee also looked for submissions that demonstrated alignment with the goals of PRME’s Impactful Five (i5) pedagogical framework.

View AwardeeThe purpose of the PRME Student Awards is to honor outstanding student-led initiatives within the PRME Community that demonstrate exceptional levels of innovation and impact in their actions toward the advancement of Responsible Management Education and the Sustainable Development Goals at local, national, and global levels.
The 2024 PRME Global Students Sustainability Awards honors and recognizes the excellence of impactful sustainability-oriented student organizations from PRME Signatory Members that align their work with the Seven Principles for Responsible Management Education and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). PRME Global Students (PGS) received 119 submissions from 46 countries.

The purpose of the 2023 PRME Student Awards is to honor outstanding student-led initiatives within the PRME Community that demonstrate exceptional levels of innovation and impact in their actions toward the advancement of Responsible Management Education and the Sustainable Development Goals at local, national, and global levels.
The three-stage awarding process was led by the PRME Global Students (PGS) with the support of the PRME Secretariat. Beginning with the Nomination Stage, each of the nine PGS Regional Leaders nominated three outstanding sustainability-oriented student-led organizations in their respective continents and global sub-regions. Subsequently, in the Scoring Stage, a quantitative approach was used to narrow down the 27 nominations in nine top-listed candidates. Finally, during the Deliberation Stage, the PGS Regional Leaders met to discuss the shortlisted candidates and reached first a consensus on the three finalists, and subsequently, picked up the final winner.
In 2023, one winner and two runner-ups were selected for the PRME Student Award, and they were presented during a ceremony at the 2023 PRME Global Forum.

The Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) Report is a pillar in the PRME community - a resource for storytelling, a tool for internal and external accountability, and a strategic document for many in their accreditation processes. To recognize the time put into compiling these reports and to honor the efforts in transparency from the community, the PRME Recognition for Excellence in SIP Reporting was created.
To be considered eligible, reports needed to meet the basic SIP Policy requirements. The reports must include:
A letter signed by the highest executive of the organization expressing continued commitment to PRME.
A description of practical actions (i.e., disclosure of any relevant policies, procedures, activities) that the institution has taken to implement one or more Principles during the past 24 months (since signing up to PRME or since last submission of a SIP).
An assessment of outcomes (i.e., the degree to which previously outlined goals were met, or other qualitative or quantitative evaluation of results).
Key, specific objectives for the next 24-month period with regard to the implementation of the Principle(s). Concrete strategies and timelines are encouraged.
To note, it is the quality of the reporting on progress - rather than the quality of the initiatives and integration of the Principles in practical terms - which is assessed in this review process.
This year, we are celebrating 10 years of the Recognition of Excellence in SIP Reporting. Reports considered for the recognition in 2024 were those submitted between 1 May 2023 and 2 May 2024.
