Business School, Sichuan University
The Business School of SCU has a long history. The earliest business education at Business School dates back to the Sichuan Institute of Higher Learning in 1905. In Jun. 2001, the former Business Administration Department, Management Science Department, and Management Engineering Department of Sichuan University were merged into Business Administration School. Business Administration School was renamed Business School in 2012.
The School’s Mission is “We are dedicated to fostering responsible business talents through the anatomy of the business world”, and the Vision is to become a leading business school in China, distinguished by world-class standards and the unique characteristics of SCU. Our School provides professional business education teaching and business-related service to the whole world, China, and southwest China by offering comprehensive programs from undergraduate level to master’s and doctoral level, and producing significant intellectual contributions. The Business School of Sichuan University is an innovative and lively community of about 4,200 students and appropriately 250 faculty and staff members.
We are committed to continuing greater efforts to make a positive societal impact through academic research, talent cultivation, social service, international collaboration, and the cultural preservation and innovation. Our school became the AACSB accredited school in Aug. of 2024 and ranked 355 on the QS World University Rankings list and 150 on the THE World University Rankings list in 2024.
