PRME Chapter Italy

PRME Chapter Italy is dedicated to educational and business changes toward a sustainable society under the umbrella of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), an initiative of the UN Global Compact. This Chapter will focus upon furthering sustainability within the educational sector through collaborative initiatives and sharing best practices.

1st PRME World Tour Research Paper Development Workshop

The PRME Chapter Italy will host the 1st PRME World Tour Research Paper Development Workshop at Bologna Business School on May 20th, 2024.

The PRME World Tour Research Paper Development Program - a partnership between PRME and two of the world’s leading international journals in the responsible management and business-in-society field, Business & Society and Journal of Business Ethics - offers PRME Regional Chapters one research paper development workshop during 2022-2024 invited by the PRME Secretariat and co-organised with the PRME Regional Chapters and the PRME World Tour Organising Committee.

The objective of the PRME World Tour is to support early-career as well as mid-career scholars in bringing research to publication. The PRME World Tour also has a more general ambition of supporting the professionalisation of the scholarly field of responsible management research.

PhD students, newly graduated doctors, post-doctoral researchers, and career and mid-career scholars are invited to participate, either submitting a work-in-progress paper or attending the invited editors' panel.

i5 Literacy Certification Process

The PRME i5 (Impactful 5) European Expert Pedagogy Group are delighted to announce the i5 Literacy Certification Scheme

The PRME ‘Impactful Five’ (i5) Program is an ambitious project to nurture responsible leaders by integrating collaborative, meaningful and playful learning among global leadership educators. Sign up for a to learn more about the pedagogic research behind the i5 program in this Stage 1 Webinar and hear from members of the i5 Expert Pedagogy Group with first-hand experience of developing the PRME Impactful Five (i5) Playbook and experience of implementing its practices in the classroom.

This certification scheme is a joint initiative of the PRME Europe chapters: CEE, DACH, France & Benelux, Iberia, Italy, Nordic, Poland, UK & Ireland.

Participants develop their understanding and continuous implementation by completing all Stages in consecutive manner until i5 literacy is fully achieved in Stage 5. Certificates for attending, respectively successfully completing individual Stages will be provided. A recording of the Stage 1 webinar will be available, while Stage 2 onwards will be synchronous (online/offline) only. Please watch this Stage 1 recording (18 minutes) before signing up for Stage 2. Note that Stage 2/3/4/5 sessions will not be recorded, i.e. progressing through the i5 Literacy Certification Process requires synchronous engagement.
