PRME is committed to tracking and amplifying the transformation of business and management schools as they embed sustainability into education, research, and operations. Through Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) Reports, Signatory Members document their efforts to implement the Seven Principles of PRME and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These reports serve as both a reflection of individual progress and a collective benchmark for responsible management education worldwide.
Beyond reporting, PRME analyzes SIPs to identify trends, challenges, and best practices, helping institutions learn from one another and enhance their impact. Through storytelling, data-driven insights, and global dialogues, we support schools in translating commitments into measurable change. Charting Impact is about more than tracking progress—it’s about driving accountability, sharing knowledge, and inspiring action across the global business education community.
A central commitment of any institution participating in the PRME initiative is to regularly share information with its stakeholders on the progress made in implementing the Seven Principles through a Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) report. As a key integrity measure, the SIP's main objective is to serve as a public vehicle for information on responsible management education. In addition, the SIP can be an effective tool for facilitating stakeholder dialogue and a learning community among Signatories.
The PRME Commons is a novel technological platform that serves as a self-reporting database as well as a global knowledge exchange hub for PRME Signatory Members. It enables institutions to document and showcase their progress in implementing the Seven Principles of PRME and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Beyond reporting, PRME Commons fosters collaboration by allowing members to share best practices, resources, and innovative approaches to responsible management education. Through interactive features and a growing repository of evidence, the platform strengthens connections across the PRME community, driving collective learning and impact.
Impact Stories showcase PRME’s tangible influence by highlighting the real-world outcomes of our initiatives. Through the experiences of deans, educators, students, and others within PRME institutions, these stories demonstrate how engagement with PRME has led to meaningful change. They illustrate how PRME’s resources and community empower individuals to integrate sustainability into education, research, and leadership, ultimately advancing the Seven Principles and the SDGs.
