Graduate School of Economics and Management of Ural Federal University is a recognised research and education centre adhering to international academic standards. Today GSEM is one of the largest institutes of Ural Federal University. We provide fundamental education in economics, management, business informatics, public administration, PR and advertising, coupled with practical skills for ensuring sustainable development, innovation growth and increasing global competitiveness. Our School is an expert and research centre of international level in the field of regional policies and development strategies, sustainable business development and CSR. We work in cooperation with leading Russian and international experts, implement projects in consortium with the most reputable academic institutions and research centres in the country and abroad. It is confirmed by our high placement in THE Business and Economics ranking (top 300).
In 2015, BA International Economics and Business was recognized at the global level by obtaining EPAS (EFMD ) accreditation. In 2018 and 2021 it was re-accredited and currently is only one programme in Russia with 5 years EFMD Accreditation. This achievement places GSEM among 1% of business schools in the world having such a high rating. In 2019, BA IEB was ISO certified for the first time for UrFU degree programmes.

In 2017, GSEM became a member of another respectful professional global association – AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

The track International Financial Management of our Master's programme International Management is the only one accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in Ekaterinburg.

In 2017, GSEM (via its School of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship) was awarded with CEEMAN international accreditation – IQA.

The GSEM International Academic Council has been established for the successful development of the School bringing best national and international practices to the GSEM development strategy and actions.
