In Vietnam’s higher education System, there are hundreds of higher education institutions out of which 2 are national universities: Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU, HCM City) and 3 regional universities: Thai Nguyen University, Hue University and University of Danang. In 2015, Vietnam National University, Hanoi was ranked by “The QS World University Rankings by Subject” as the No. 1 university in Vietnam and among the top 139 Asian universities. Currently, Vietnam National University, Hanoi has seven member universities and 5 affiliated schools.
VNU-International School (VNU-IS) is proud to be the first institution to offer undergraduate and graduate training programs entirely in foreign languages. VNU-IS has partnered with many prestigious foreign universities. Bachelor and Master's degrees are awarded by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and its foreign partner universities. To date, VNU-IS has set up cooperation with nearly 40 foreign universities. In 2016, it was also the first in Vietnam National University, Hanoi to implement a program to attract scholars, whereby, many foreign professors have participated in teaching, conducting scientific research and technology transfer at the School.
