Happy International Women's Day 2022!
PRME celebrates and congratulates all women for their inspiring and impactful leadership across segments of today's global society.
Women are influential drivers of change everywhere - Governments, Businesses, Universities, and beyond. Every day, within the PRME global community, millions of women take concrete action toward responsible management education and sustainable development. Their diverse and strong voice make critical statements for the future we imagine, and, after every purposeful action, they transform today’s world for the betterment of tomorrow.
Still, we all know there is much to be done in advancing Gender Equality worldwide. We, at PRME, reinforce that women are not alone in this journey! Our global community has shaped the debate and contributed to this pivotal momentum by taking various collaborative actions.
Below you will find more information on some of the gender-based engagement opportunities:
Operating since 2011, the PRME Working Group on Gender Equality is an interdisciplinary network of academics and business leaders that collaboratively provides support and resources for cutting-edge research and dissemination of knowledge on the integration of gender issues into management education.
Launched in January 2022, the PRME Best 10 in Gender Equality consolidates ten "must-read" academic articles and books for everyone committed to expanding their thinking about gender equality in relation to corporate responsibility and responsible management teaching at local and global levels.
For the second consecutive year, PRME will host a panel at the UN Global Compact's Target Gender Equality Live 2022, titled "Gender Equality at the intersection of sustainable transformation." Taking place on 15 March at 10:45 am (EST), the panel will highlight the latest academic trends and insights from PRME cutting-edge academics who discuss the importance of bringing together all of the different paths that businesses are taking in their quest to address the pervasive problem of gender inequality.
