Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) is a foundation university in Istanbul, Turkey which is a young university having been established in 2008.
IGU has one institute which is Institute of Graduate Studies, and 6 faculties which are Engineering and Architecture, Applied Sciences, Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Dentistry, and Health Sciences; 2 schools which are Physical Education and Sports, and Foreign Languages; and 2 vocational schools which are Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School, and Vocational School of Health Services. IGU provides its students with education under 101 undergraduate, 51 associate degree daytime, 38 associate degree night, 33 thesis/32 non-thesis graduate, and 7 PhD programmes. Currently, IGU has 34000+ national and international students. IGU has relationships with over 100 universities worldwide to aid the mobility of students at all levels. There are a number of different services for students such as the Career Development Centre and Counselling Service. Additionally, there are a number of sports facilities on campus such as basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, and an indoor gymnasium.
