HKMU B&A strives to nurture business professionals with global vision through quality education and extensive opportunities for career development.

Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration is one of the six academic schools of Hong Kong Metropolitan University. The School has always strived to offer a wide range of programmes to cater for the needs of secondary school graduates and working adults. We offer more than 50 programmes in different learning modes leading to the award of qualifications from bachelor to doctoral levels. Apart from the existing academic programmes, professionals can enrol in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses and modules in e-learning mode. Being one of the largest business schools in Hong Kong, the School has a total of 4,730 students, comprising over 3,150 full-time and 1,580 part-time students.

We understand the importance of early career engagement. Over the years, we have devoted efforts to enhancing our students’ learning experience and employability through experiential learning activities such as internship, job shadowing, leadership training and overseas learning programmes. In 2017, we launched the Global Immersion Programme (GIP) for students to deepen their understanding of the cultural, social and economic dynamics around the world. With the dedication of academics and professionals, our curriculum does not only introduce conventional theories, but also practical skills in business, giving students a distinct competitive edge in the ever-changing business world.

Recognising the importance of networking in the field of business, we are active in fostering collaborations with tertiary institutions and professional bodies in Hong Kong, Mainland China and different parts of the world. Currently, many of the School’s academic programmes are recognised by a number of local and international professional bodies with a range of exemptions granted to our graduates and students. With comprehensive learning resources offered by the University, our graduates could strive for excellence in and contribution to the business world.

Funded by the Research Grants Council’s Institutional Development Scheme, the School established the Institute of International Business and Governance (IIBG) in January 2016. IIBG focuses on research of the latest trend and business implications in the areas of international business, governance, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship. It provides a platform for the exchange of important research findings, fostering research collaboration and knowledge creation among the international academic world, and stimulating entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in this rapidly evolving global economy.
