PRME is excited to offer 2025 certification opportunities in innovative pedagogy for responsible management education. Educators who have been involved in the Impactful Five (i5) project—or those eager to explore creative teaching practices—are encouraged to participate.
Building on past successes, we now offer three certification levels designed to foster deeper engagement and recognition. Educators progress through the tiers by attending workshops, implementing innovative practices, and ultimately demonstrating evidence of student success.
There are three types of workshops:
Introductory: Start your pedagogy journey with an introduction workshop, emphasizing the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and holistic skills development in business education. This is required to start the certificate.
Path of PRME Pedagogy: These workshops focus on innovative teaching methods that enhance student engagement and skill development. The workshops cover active learning, experiential education, reflective practices, and faculty collaboration to advance responsible management education.
PRME Content and Curricula: These workshops explore integrating sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility into business courses. The workshops provide practical tools for embedding the SDGs, developing sustainability-driven case studies, and fostering ethical decision-making.
Join the PRME Secretariat on 15 May to learn more about the certification opportunities and how to get involved.

We recommend starting with an introduction workshop to learn more about foundational frameworks to begin your journey.
No, this certification model is not designed to be linear. We encourage you to start trying to evidence pedagogy in practice while attending skill building workshops.
No, the Certificate of Participation workshops are designed by experts from Education for Sharing and meant to see educators leave with engaging activities and conversations they can use in the classroom.
We will try our best to offer each theme in a different time zone throughout the year. All of our sessions will be recorded and available. However, you do need to attend live for it to count towards your certification.
Great! We have a toolbox available for you to get started. If you have additional questions, please reach out to pedagogy@unprme.org.
