Save the Date: 1st Mercosur Conference for Responsible Management Education

The 1st Mercosur Conference for Responsible Management Education is a joint initiative of the Brazilian and the Latin American and Caribbean Chapters of the PRME, a global initiative of the United Nations.

The event will take place on 25-26 May at the ITAIPÚ Technology Park, in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. The Meeting has the support of Itaipú and the Global Compact Local Networks of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

PRME is an extremely important vector of dissemination and action in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In order to promote the initiative and its principles, and expand the number of signatories at the regional level, we invite signatories to participate in this conference which has the following objectives:

• Present the PRME initiative for Mercosur Universities and Business Schools;
• Share the ways in which educational institutions have been incorporating and inserting the Sustainable Development Goals into study plans and research projects;
• Create a space for dialogue and proposals for collaborative projects related to SDGs that generate positive impacts in the participating countries;
• Promote a space of connection, articulation and dialogue between educational institutions and the private sector to understand their expectations and needs regarding the relationship with the academy and to explore joint collaboration alternatives.
