We are pleased to announce that the 2nd PRME Champions Meeting of the 2016/17 cycle will be hosted on 16 October by Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick in Ireland to coordinate with the GRLI’s 2016 All Gathering Momentum event (17-19 October). The meeting will build on the discussions, deliverables and goals set at the first PRME Champions Meeting in New York which was hosted by Fordham University on 24 June.
The purpose of this second face-to-face meeting is to check the progress of the projects and clusters that emerged from the first meeting in New York. In particular, participants will engage in hand-on work and further re-confirm and agree on the set deliverables, timelines, methods and activities necessary for successfully carrying out the projects.
Following project-specific check-ins throughout the summer and a group webinar in September, the meeting in Limerick will provide the opportunity for:

GRLI All Momentum Gathering (AGM) Event, 17-19 October
The GRLI's 2016 AGM explores the theme “Common Good, Common Ground” using the idea of place as a unifying and dividing concept. Participants are invited to consider ideas of belonging – What does it mean to belong to a place? What does it mean to be excluded? In what sense can a place belong to a particular group of people? What does that tell us about public and private good? In the context of a global crisis of displacement, who owns the earth, and what it contains?
The purpose of the GRLI AGM is to facilitate an environment in which Partners, Associates and invited guests may:
PRME Champions are invited to take part in the AGM on 17-19 October which will also offer project-specific meetings for the sub-groups to further work on their projects. Castletroy Park Hotel

Rooms will be held until 1 month prior to arrival and any rooms at that point that have not been reserved will be released so please make sure you make a booking by mid-September.
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel
A very friendly three-star hotel, a little further from the conference venue than the Castletroy Park, but still only 5 min in a taxi, or a 25 minute walk. They have reserved 30 rooms from Saturday to Thursday, with an additional 20 for the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The University of Limerick Bed & Breakfast Rates are:
