Save the Date: CEEMAN International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA) 2016

IMTA 2016 will be taking place in Bled, Slovenia, from 12-23 June 2016. It is a two-week, highly intensive major European faculty development program that helps participants improve their knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to general and discipline-specific aspects of management education.

Week 1 encompasses common issues and interests related to general aspects of management education, including teaching philosophy and strategy, teaching and learning methods (particularly the case method), teaching and learning tools, course design, and students’ assessment and innovations in management education, including those based on technology. It also provides insight into the kinds of management educators that business schools are seeking so as to achieve and sustain relevance and excellence in business education and management development.

Week 2 is discipline-focused and allows program participants to go deeper into discipline-specific issues. The second week of the IMTA 2016 program offers to choose from the following tracks run by prominent international faculty:

· Business in Society

· Customers and Markets

· Financial Management

· Leading Change

· Strategic and International Management

(the final selection of tracks will depend on demand).

By now, IMTA has educated more than 550 graduates from 45 countries, many of whom report it had a major impact on their professional and personal growth, as well as development of their institutions.

Don’t miss the early-bird registration deadline and discount: 13 March 2016!
