Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute (TICT) is one of a leading state higher education institution in Uzbekistan (Central Asia) providing a wide range of studies and closely cooperating with industry. An Institute provides study of engineering, technologies, chemical and economical sciences.

TCTI enhances its international visibility and provides high quality education and research by:
• participating in international collaborations in over 20 international science and educational programs,
• collaborating with international partners and creating joint study programs (strategic partnerships) with University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA), University of Copenhagen (Denmark), University of Cantabria (Spain), Kazan Federal University (Russian Federation), Belarusian State Technological University and Mogilev State University of Food Technologies (Belarus),
• encouraging the participation in international exchange and experience among student and academic communities (over 100 collaboration agreements with institutions of higher education all over the world; number of international students), and
• extensive mentoring in all areas (2 student societies, 5 sport clubs, 28 students research circles and others). Through synergy of cutting-edge research, top quality education, strategic partnerships and interlinks with wide range of businesses and industry, TCTI generates collective knowledge that opens new opportunities.
Recently TCTI was successfully involved into 4 Tempus and 2 Erasmus Mundus projects addressing curricular development (MCFS, COCUS, CANDI, CIBELES), quality assurance (IQAT), doctoral education (UzDOC2.0), 7 academic exchange Erasmus+ projects, also an international research project of NATO for peace, project of British Councils (EnSPIRE-U), project of American Councils (with University of Wisconsin-Madison).
Academic mobility takes particular importance in the modern education and is the main component of the TICT cooperation with other universities. More than 145 teachers, young scientists, undergraduates, master students and postgraduate students of the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute travel abroad every year to undergo scientific training, deliver lectures, participate in conferences, as well as to do research and make joint international projects.
