PRME Global
To advance the vision of business and the common good, the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Religious Values in
Business at the Mendoza College of Business, in partnership with the United National Global Compact, and the United
Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education will convene a major conference at Notre Dame,
March 20-22, 2011, titled “The UN Millennium Development Goals, The Global Compact, and The Common Good.”
The conference will bring together leading businesses that are both mainstreaming the UN Global Compact’s ten
principles concerning human and labor rights, environmental care and anti-corruption in their businesses and taking
action to advance the Millennium Development Goals designed to help alleviate dire poverty. Academics, government
officials, and NGO leaders will focus on some of the practical as well as the conceptual issues involved.
Who Should Attend?
• Students who are interested in sustainability/CSR/Corporate Citizenship and its career
possibilities.
• Faculty and administrators who teach in this area and want to meet the top leaders in
the Global Compact and The Principles for Responsible Management Education.
